The Epilepsy Foundation Eastern Pennsylvania is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) voluntary health organization that provides education, support and advocacy for people with epilepsy and their families. The Epilepsy Foundation Eastern Pennsylvania also promotes understanding of seizure disorders through a wide variety of programs presented to business, government and school communities, professional audiences, and the general public.

The Foundation is not affiliated with any hospitals in its service area and the Foundation is not funded by the Pharmaceutical Industry.  However, the pharmaceutical Industry does support independent educational programs.

Many companies throughout the U.S. offer Matching Gift Programs. It's easy to match donations, what you need to do is:

1. Ask your Human Resources Department if your company participates in a Matching Gift Program


2. Obtain a Matching Gift Program form from your Human Resources Department


3. Send the completed form along with your gift to the Epilepsy Foundation Eastern Pennsylvania. If you have mailed your gift previously, send the form and we will verify the information and return the form to the company as requested.


4. The Foundation will acknowledge your original gift as well as the matching gift when received.

In many cases a company will also offer its Matching Gift Program not only to current employees but to their spouses, retired employees and their spouses, and widows or widowers of retired employees.

Matching gifts, along with your contributions, help to provide funding that enables the Foundation to continue its quality programs and services to individuals with epilepsy/seizure disorder and their families.
