Charley Roach founded the Foundation in 1972 when he and his family discovered the Philadelphia area lacked resources for those experiencing epilepsy/seizure disorders. With Charley’s vision, the Epilepsy Foundation Eastern PA was incorporated and has grown to serve 18 counties in our region. His efforts have greatly enhanced the “quality of life” for those with epilepsy and their families. To remember Charley’s 30 years of contributions to the epilepsy community and keep his spirit alive, we honor him with an annual Golf Invitational. Join the EFEPA and Tim Roach, our chairman, at our Annual Charley Roach Golf Invitational and help the Epilepsy Foundation Eastern Pennsylvania continue a 39-year tradition of offering vital services to people with epilepsy/seizure disorder and their families.
The Invitational is a long-standing fundraising event that promises to be an enjoyable day for all. You can bring a friend, organize a foursome, or entertain your clients while supporting a worthy cause. All golfers will receive welcome gifts, use of a golf cart, a buffet lunch, course refreshments, cocktails, and dinner. Fabulous prizes will be offered for a hole-in-one, the longest drive, the straightest drive, and closest to the pin. Golfers will also have the opportunity to bid on wonderful packages in our silent auction.
