The Foundation wrapped up its week long sleepover Camp Achieve on August 27th. They hosted 40 campers ages 8 - 17 at Camp Green Lane.
The rave reviews are still coming in.
The campers participated in wall climbing, .jpg)
archery, canoeing, swimming, golf & tennis clinics as well as a talent show, scavenger hunt, arts and crafts and a Country Western Hoedown.

The week also includes educational sessions for the age groups and an opportunity to share information with peers. This overnight camp for children and teens with the primary diagnosis of epilepsy/seizure disorder provides a safe, supportive environment with medical staff, counselors and the Foundation staff.
This year the campers teamed up with an organization called ConKerr Cancer that sews pillowcases for children with cancer. They looked past their own daily struggles and lent a helping hand to other children facing their own medical issues.
The activity encouraged team building, leadership skills, and volunteerism while learning a new talent and having fun. Campers were so inspired by the organization’s mission they completed 64 pillowcases that will put smiles on the faces of children with a life changing illness or injury.
