Accessing the latest information, resources and social support can make managing the impact of epilepsy much easier. EFEPA Support Groups are FREE and open to people with epilepsy, friends, family members and health professionals. We meet regularly for discussions and mutual peer support. At times we have guest speakers to talk about relevant epilepsy topics. If you have questions before attending your first meeting about what to expect, please feel free to call us at (215) 629-5003.

Life with epilepsy can at times be stressful, overwhelming, and challenging to navigate; not just for the person diagnosed, but for their partner as well. Couples experiencing epilepsy face unique challenges together. At times a partner may serve as a caregiver, and with that comes navigating various responsibilities, over-protection, and concerns about well-being.

The EFEPA Couples Support Group is specially designed for those diagnosed with epilepsy and their significant others. This support group is tailored to the unique needs and shared experiences of couples facing an epilepsy diagnosis together, regardless of sexual orientation or relationship status. It's our hope that we can overcome these challenges through shared experiences, conversations and support for each other.
