This year’s Summer Stroll will take place on Saturday, June 21, 2014!

The Stroll is the EFEPA’s largest awareness and fundraising event of the year. The Foundation’s annual 5 mile non-competitive walk is held in Fairmount Park starting at Northwestern Avenue & Forbidden Drive in Chestnut Hill.  The path takes you 2.5 miles along the Wissahickon Creek to Valley Green and returns along the same path ending at Harper’s Meadow for a light picnic lunch and children’s entertainment.  The path is shaded and flat but not paved.

Over 1000 individuals attend the event with family, friends, and coworkers to unite for the cause. You can join the EFEPA at our Summer Stroll by gathering a team or walking individually. Walkers get a chance to greet old friends and meet new ones while raising funds and awareness in our eighteen-county service area of eastern Pennsylvania.  All participants who raise more then $50 receive a commemorative T-shirt.!

We’re on Facebook too, so make sure you friend us to learn up to date information and fundraising tips!
