Summer Stroll 2012 – June 16, 2012
Forbidden Drive, Chestnut Hill

The EFEPA recently hosted its annual Summer Stroll on June 18th.  The walk had over 800 participants and netted over $100,000!  It was one of the greatest strolls to date.  Our sincere gratitude to all of our walkers, donors, volunteers, In-Kind donors and sponsors, including our premier sponsor Team Epilepsy.  Thank you for making this event so successful!

The Stroll is the EFEPA’s largest awareness and fundraising event of the year. The Foundation’s annual 5 mile non-competitive walk is held in Fairmount Park starting at Northwestern Avenue & Forbidden Drive in Chestnut Hill.  The path takes you 2.5 miles along the Wissahickon Creek to Valley Green and returns along the same path ending at Harper’s Meadow for a light picnic lunch and children’s entertainment.  The path is shaded and flat but not paved.

Over 800 individuals attend the event with family, friends, and coworkers to unite for the cause. You can join the EFEPA at our Summer Stroll by gathering a team or walking individually. Walkers get a chance to greet old friends and meet new ones while raising funds and awareness in our eighteen-county service area of eastern Pennsylvania. Prizes are awarded to the teams and individuals that raise the most money. All participants who raise more then $50 receive a commemorative T-shirt.
