Join us as we lace up our running shoes to make Strides Against Seizures!
On October 6, 2019 we will run and walk for the 1 in 26 who will be diagnosed with epilepsy in their lifetime. Join fellow Epilepsy Warriors for the EFEPA’s Strides Against Seizures 5K circling iconic Fairmount Park to raise awareness and critical funds for our local epilepsy community.
There isn’t just one reason to run…there’s 110,000! Epilepsy affects over 110,000 families and individuals in eastern Pennsylvania alone. By joining the race you’re joining the fight against seizures and helping us take strides to find a cure.
You don’t want to miss this 5K Run/Walk featuring live music, pre-race warm-up & stretch, professional announcers, special EFEPA event swag, and finisher medals.
Not a runner? Not a problem! Go at your own pace – walk, skip, stroll and make Strides Against Seizures alongside fellow Epilepsy Warriors!
Whether you’re a dedicated distance runner or a casual jogger we want you to join our team in the upcoming Philadelphia Marathon November 22-23rd!
In conjunction with the Epilepsy Foundation of America, we’re proud to bring the Athletes vs. Epilepsy initiative to the City of Brotherly Love! It’s an exciting way to raise money and awareness on behalf of those battling epilepsy. But hurry, bibs are limited! As always, all proceeds will support the free programs and services provided locally.
The EFEPA is be here to guide you through the process and help you raise funds! Check out our DIY Fundraising page for tips and tricks. The fundraising minimums for participating are as follows:
